The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the well-being of their children at home, follow up on their progress, and explore ways to strengthen the partnership between Ndineza and the families to support the children's education and overall growth.
During the meeting, Ndineza provided recommendations to the parents to encourage a cooperative effort in ensuring the children's development. One of the key aspects discussed was how these mothers, many of whom have no sustainable means of livelihood, can be supported in improving their economic situation while helping their children thrive.
In response to this, Ndineza introduced a financial capacity building project called “Nduwagaciro” aimed at empowering these women with the skills and financial support needed to start small businesses. Each participant will receive an interest-free loan ranging from $200 to $500, depending on their needs and capacity. The women will use this funding to establish small businesses that will enable them to generate income. The loan is designed to be repaid over a one-year period, and once repaid, the funds will be reinvested into the program to support additional women in the community.
The “Nduwagaciro” project is designed not only to provide financial support but also to build the skills of the participants. A comprehensive two-week training on financial literacy and business management will be provided to ensure that the women are well-equipped to run their businesses successfully. This initiative aligns with Ndineza’s mission to uplift marginalized women and improve their living standards through economic empowerment.

The project is an important step toward fostering sustainable change in the lives of these women and their families, providing them with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and create better futures for their children. Ndineza Organization remains committed to supporting the empowerment of women and enhancing the well-being of families in the community.
